Hi, I’m Gauri 👋

 

I run on coffee, delusion, and the belief that handmade things make life feel softer.
I also haven’t slept since launching this brand - but that’s a different story.

SeaSalt started in 2020, when the world shut down, and so did my life as a flight attendant.
Airports went quiet, bags went into cupboards, and for the first time ever, I wasn’t flying anywhere.
I was just… home.
Bored.
Restless.
Creative.
Chaotic.

Somewhere in the middle of having nothing to do and everything to feel, a friend gifted me a tiny resin kit - “because you’re creative enough to not go mad,” she said.
And she was right.

The first time I poured resin, something inside me clicked.
It felt like the closest thing to flying without actually taking off.
Like freedom, but in liquid form.

What started as a way to fill time slowly became the place where I found myself again.

SeaSalt began as home décor and jewelry, but over the years - after switching houses, building my own space, living out of hotels, missing the feeling of ‘home’ - I found my niche.
Lifestyle. Warmth. Aesthetic comfort. Things that make you feel at home, even if your life is all over the place.

Every piece I make is a tiny reflection of that:
coming home after long flights, seeing your own things waiting for you,
feeling like the space belongs to you,
and you belong in it.

This brand is built from my home studio - which means at some point:
my dad folded boxes,
my sister printed your order labels,
and my mom hovered behind me telling me not to mess up the house.
Family business? Absolutely.
Professional workplace? Questionable.
Made with love? Always.

SeaSalt is small-batch, handmade, and deeply personal.
When you buy something from here, you’re not just getting décor -
you’re getting a piece of my story, a slice of my chaos, and a whole lot of heart.
